Vnukovo Airport can be reached by metro

The mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin, said that already in 2023, the Vnukovo metro station will work for passengers.

"The same Solntsevskaya metro line, people there have been waiting for the subway for 20 years, today we have reached Rasskazovka, and in the near future we will come to Vnukovo next year. This is the extension of the Sokolnicheskaya Line, which entered New Moscow, today it is, then the construction of new lines," he said.

Construction of a new 4.9-kilometer-long metro section with two stations Pykhtino and Vnukovo began in October 2019. This is a shallow laying line with a 460-meter-long metro bridge across the Likova River.
