Customs at Sheremetyevo airport stopped the smuggling of orders and medals of the USSR
The press service of the customs of Sheremetyevo International Airport (Moscow, Russia) reports on an attempt to illegally export medals and orders of the USSR to China.
"State awards, the cost of which is 350 thousand rubles, Sheremetyevo customs officers found in the luggage of a Chinese citizen who flew to Beijing," the report says.
"The issue of initiating a criminal case under Part 1 of Article 226.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation ("Smuggling of cultural property") is being resolved. The punishment provides for imprisonment for a term of three to seven years and a fine of up to 1 million rubles," the press service concluded.
