A new segment of the Domodedovo Airport passenger terminal will open in November
Moscow Domodedovo Airport has received permission from the Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviation) to put into operation a new segment of the Domodedovo Airport passenger terminal — T2. This is reported by the press service of the air harbor.
Already in November, it is planned to serve the first flights in test mode from the new segment of the passenger terminal, whose area exceeds 238 thousand square meters, and the capacity is 20 million passengers per year. The total area of the Domodedovo single passenger terminal will increase to 500 thousand sq. m.
The implementation of the T2 project will make Domodedovo one of the largest single terminals in Europe, made in the UNDER ONE ROOF concept (a single terminal under one roof). This approach involves the creation of a single terminal for the most efficient use of the airport's transfer potential.
