A foreign citizen offered a bribe to police officers at the Irkutsk airport

At Irkutsk airport, transport police detained a 30-year-old foreign citizen for violating the regime of stay in Russia. In turn, the man, in order to avoid responsibility, offered a bribe to employees in the amount of two thousand rubles.

However, the police refused the money and brought the bribe taker to administrative responsibility. In addition, the man faces criminal prosecution.

"Attempted petty bribery. The sanction of the article provides for liability of up to 1 year of imprisonment," the press service of the East Siberian Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia on Transport noted.
